Refund and Cancellation Policy

REFUNDS

 

Lextrous offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid ghostwriting services listed on our website. For any article delivered as part of a paid plan, users can request a refund within 7 days of delivery if they are not satisfied with the article for any reason.


Refunds are issued subject to the following conditions: (i) the refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days (i.e., 168 hours) of delivery of the article; (ii) no requests for revisions have been initiated on that article; (iii) the user has not approved the article by clicking the ‘Approve’ button on their dashboard.


The refund amount is proportional to the per-word rate of the pricing plan under which an article is delivered. For all plans purchased after 4th January 2021, the per-word rate for refunds is specified hereunder.

Articles on which a user raises revision requests are considered to be approved in principle by the user, and refund requests cannot be accepted on such articles. Article are also automatically considered to be approved if the user does not take any action for over 7 days (168 hours) from the point of delivery of an article. Once more than 7 days (168 hours) has elapsed since delivery of an article, with no intervening user action, refund requests cannot subsequently accepted on that article.

Refunds can only be issued towards the original payment method that the customer used to make the payment. Lextrous typically credits refunds within 3 business days of an approved refund request. The time required for it to reflect on your card or bank statement varies depending on your bank or card provider. This may typically be around 10 - 12 days. Any fees or charges levied by the user's bank or card provider on credits to the user's payment method, including but not limited to currency conversion charges, must be borne by the user.

CANCELLATIONS

Users may cancel an active pricing plan at any point by notifying Lextrous in writing. Refunds for Plan Cancellations are prorated based on the extent of usage of the pricing plan, and the basis for prorating is as outlined hereunder.

For the purposes of refunds towards cancellation of a plan, 'usage' is measured as the total word count of all articles under that plan, which have been approved by the user. An approved article is one that, (i) is marked as approved by the user through the 'Approve' button or link on the user's content review dashboard, or; (ii) has a revision request raised on that article. Articles on which a user raises revision requests are considered to be approved in principle by the user, and all such articles will be counted towards the total usage under their respective plans.
